Senior Data Scientist — Applied AI

About the role

You will translate business problems into rigorous applied AI products, from exploration and feature engineering through evaluation and collaboration with Data Engineering.

What you'll work on

• Translate business questions into measurable data-science problems
• Explore and prepare structured and unstructured data
• Develop models and engineer useful features
• Design robust evaluation protocols and business-relevant metrics
• Document experiments, assumptions and results
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to move models toward production
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Python, pandas/NumPy and SQL
• Scikit-learn or a comparable ML framework
• Supervised and unsupervised machine learning
• Statistics, feature engineering and model evaluation
• Reproducible experiments and Git
• Clear communication of results and trade-offs

Nice to have

• NLP, LLM applications or generative AI
• Anomaly detection, graph analytics or fraud use cases
• PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experiment tracking, model serving or MLOps
• Explainability and responsible AI

Remote — Tunisia

This position is designed for remote work within Tunisia. Candidates should preferably be based in Tunisia.
