Data Engineer — Data Platforms & Pipelines

About the role

Build reliable, maintainable data foundations that support analytics, machine learning and AI solutions. You will work across ingestion, transformation and quality to make data ready for practical use.

What you'll work on

• Design and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Integrate databases, APIs, files and external data sources
• Model and transform data into analytics-ready datasets
• Implement data-quality checks and validation
• Orchestrate, monitor and troubleshoot workflows
• Improve pipeline performance and reliability
• Write tested code and document datasets and transformations
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data/AI project teams

What we're looking for

• Python and SQL
• Relational databases and data modeling
• ETL/ELT and data-pipeline fundamentals
• APIs and data integration
• Data quality and validation
• Git, testing and maintainable code

Nice to have

• dbt or a comparable transformation framework
• Airflow, Prefect or similar orchestration tools
• Docker and CI/CD
• Spark, Kafka or streaming systems
• Cloud data platforms and warehouse/lakehouse concepts

Working model

Remote — Tunisia

This position is designed for remote work within Tunisia. Candidates should preferably be based in Tunisia.
